Ph.D. Students

We are always looking for motivated Ph.D. students interested in eco-centric HCI, sustainable AI, and regenerative design. Ideal candidates have a background in computer science, design, or related fields, and are passionate about environmental sustainability.

M.S. Students

Postdoctoral Researchers

We occasionally have openings for postdoctoral researchers with expertise in HCI, AI, environmental computing, or related areas. Postdocs at IDEF Lab have the opportunity to lead independent research while collaborating on lab projects.

Visiting Researchers

Apply 6 months in advance

We welcome visiting researchers and scholars for short-term or long-term visits. This is an excellent opportunity for international collaboration and exchange.

  • Ph.D. student, postdoc, or faculty member
  • Research overlap with IDEF Lab interests
  • Own funding or fellowship

Postdoctoral Researcher - AI for Sustainability

Full-time

We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to lead projects at the intersection of AI and environmental sustainability. The position involves developing AI systems that support ecological decision-making and behavior change.

Research Assistant - BioSense Project

Part-time

We are looking for an undergraduate or master's student to assist with the BioSense project. Responsibilities include sensor deployment, data collection, and prototype development.
